Selena was sitting at her dining room table trying to work on her homework she had. It was a book report. She hated this too becasue she didn't have her computer with her to type it so she had to write it and was not in the mood to she was just sitting there thinking that whole thing up. Her mother walk through and sighed. "Selena, start writing or you're gonna be grounded." She heard her mother tell her. Selena put her head down. She sighed and got up. grabbing her notebook and her pens. throwing them in her large black purse and a black hoodie she ran out of the house telling her mother she would be back she was going to the library to type it up.
She ran into the school library quickly and ran into something really hard. She couldn't see becaue it was dark but she didn't wanna get caught so she pulled her phone out and used it as light to make her way to the computers. Luckily they were in the back of the library away from any windows leading towards the the hallways. She turned one on and waited for it boot. Her phone was taunting her. She hated the dark and didn't want to be in it alone. She decided she was going to text someone to come over with her. Hey i'm at the school, in a dark library. can you come over. i have to type up my report and my mom took my computer. please come over. i need company thankz--<3 selena She typed into the computer and hit send. She smiled happy she had send the text to Nick Jonas. She was really good friends with him and he was perfect at keeping company becaue he was ALWAYS funny.

Nick sat on the couch as he looked at his brother snoring next to him and his other brother's eyes glued to the TV. He smiled at Frankie and laughed as he snapped his fingers in front of his face but he didn't move an inch. He smiled as he walked into the kitchen and heard his phone ring to b b good. He smiled as he noticed it was Selena and opened the phone. Hey i'm at the school, in a dark library. can you come over. i have to type up my report and my mom took my computer. please come over. i need company thankz--<3 selenaHe looked at the phone as he read it and pressed reply. Yeah be there in a few Selena, try not to hurt yourself.Nick JHe then smiled as he sighed and laughed.
As he walked over to the fridge he took out two diet cokes and he grabbed his backpack and put the pops in. He walked out the door after saying goodbye. He walked down the street and onto the school grounds. As he walked up the steps he heard his phone ring and he picked it up, knowing who it was. "Hello Joe i'm at the library. I'll be back soon."He said as he hung up after his brother's reply. He opened the doors to the school and walked down the dark hallway to a fimilar door. He opened the door and he looked around, she was right it was dark. "Selena?"He asked as he kepted walking and ran into what was her. "So sorry Selena, do you know where a light is?"He asked her with a sigh.

Selena smiled seeing the reply he sent back. Yeah be there in a few Selena, try not to hurt yourself.Nick J and texted a smiple thanks back to him and watched as the computer finally booted up. the bright light hurt her eyes and she stood there hoping to see him there in a few minutes. Suddenly she heard her name called and knew it was Nick.
"Ow...oh hey nick." She siad as he walked right in to her but she couldn't blame him, it was dark. "So sorry Selena, do you know where a light is?" She heard him say. "It's cool. I can't blame you, it's darki can't see anything." She said in response to him apologizing. She shook her head, even though he couldn't see it. "Yeah Nick, i know where it is i just thought it would be fun to terrify myself by not turning it on. She said sarcastically. "No i have no clue. i used my phone to light my way. One of the many uses. She laughed and leaned against the table that was behind her. She only know it was a table becasue she had just thrown her books down there. "Oh by the way. Thank you." She siad and hugged him a little.

Nick smiled at her as she responded, meaning she was just fine.He looked around as he pulled out his phone for a dim light. He looked at her and smiled. He pointed the phone at her and laughed as he saw her face."You look the same."He said smiling as he looked around for the light. He then laughed a little at her comment and smiled at her. He then felt her hug him and he smiled as he hugged her back. "Yeah no problem."He said as he walked around some more. As his cell phone went out he ran into a bookshelf and he fell to the floor with some books following. "Ow Gosh Darn it."He said as he closed his cell phone and opened it again to get up.He walked over to the desk and smiled as he switched the light on and smiled. "Found it."He said and smiled as he walked back over to the books and picked them up.

Selena smiled at his comment."You look the same." He had said. She laughed. "I sure i hope so." She watched as the dim light that his cell made moved away from her meaning he did too. She saw the light suddenly fade away and was unsure what happened becasue he phone hadn't. Suddenly a crashing sound on the other side of the library flooded her ears and she heard him say something. "Ow. Gosh darn it." She laughed a little seeing as she knew he wasn't massivly hurt. As the light came on and his voice echoed though the room she smiled and sat at the already booted and ready to be used computer.
"Thanks!" she called and saw him reappear shortly there after. She opened microsoft word and began to type out the title of her essay. Mythological Stories:Echos' Tale
[/b]. She sighed. She had completely forgotten what she had to write now because she had seen him. She looked over at him. "So, what's new with you?" She asked. They hadn't talked in a while and she had to find out about him. She was unsure whether he and miley and bought a one way ticket to splitsville and stayed or if they were together again. Nick walked over to her and smiled after he truned on the light and nodded. He then felt this pain to his forehead. He left his head as he pressed it against this cut and looked down at his hand. "Nothing much."He said as he put his hand back trying not to put his hand somewhere he didn't want to. He sat down on the desk and smiled at Selena. "Umm Well, what do you mean, where just friends. But i know she likes me more but i use to now i don't."He said as he sighed and looked at her again.

Selena smiled at him and noticed that there was a small cut there on his forhead. It was kinda bleeding a little. "Oh my god, you're bleeding. Nick Let me take careof that. She said and disappeared for a minute. When she returned she hand a little bit of wet tissue and a little bit of dry as well. She held the wet one up to his forehead. She smiled at him as she did this. She heard his comment about him and miley and her heart skipped a beat."Umm Well, what do you mean, where just friends. But i know she likes me more but i use to now i don't." She smiled and nodded understanding a little but not letting him know that."And how come you don't like her anymore? Did she do something to make you not like her?" She asked him making sound like she was just a friend that was curious but she really only cared becasue she wanted to be with him. She took the tissue from his cut for a minute and looked it over. She knew the cut wasn't bad at all but wanted to help him out a little. She felt his hand against her leg a little but she didn't mind. She looked into his chocolate colored eyes and then sudden;y felt bad for this. She knew that she had only texted him becasue she thought she needed him and now she knew that.But it wasn't fair to him becasue she had this one guy that she on and off with right now and she wasn't ever sure whether if they were on or off...except now. Her and beau were on right now.
As she thought about that her phone began playing So What by P!nk. She knew exactly who it was. Daniel. She sighed sadly and moved from nick and grabbed her phone. "Hello?......hey danny........i told her i would be at the library.......well why are you always "checking up" on me all the time?.....Danny i'm at the school library......no i'm not alone.....Nick.....Babe why are you getting so mad.........it's Nick.......are you joking......well this is the last time then danny......i promise you this is the last time..........bye!" She siad and turned towards nick sadly. She sat back at the computer not saying anything for a while as she typed about half of her paper. She had to figure out a way to say something. Danny had told her if she wanted to be with him then Nick had to go but when she said this is the last time she meant of him bossing her around and picking her friends and she was don and that was the last time they were going to be together. But she was unsure how Nick might have taken what he heard. She looked at him from time to time but his expression never changed. She took a deep breath in. "That call was Danny. She told him. All her friends knew Danny all too well. Well they knew about him. and Nick especially because Danny had told Nick time and time again to stay away from Selena. Which was mostly the reason that they always broke up but this time she meant it. "He told me to stay away from you. He doesn't want us to be friends..." She started but paused to hear if he said anything to her about that. She hoped he would willingly give up what he thought about what he heard but she was unsure if he would or if he would clam up like he did whenever Danny was involved.

Nick looked at Selena and loved her look, her black hair gently placed over her shoulder, and how her bangs fell to her face as she looked down. He lover girls that took pride in their hair, they didn't look messy the looked nice and they weren't to strict about it, that was what he liked in a girl. He knew Selena fit everyone of those things, that was why he liked her. But their where tons of other reasons too. He like a girl with beautiful eyes, like Selena's, he loved her chocolate brown eyes. He watched her leave to help him and he looked at her as she came in, smiling when she smiled. He loved her smile too, he just loved her. Nick let his hand down to let her help. "And how come you don't like her anymore? Did she do something to make you not like her?"Nick look down and sighed " Well we grew apart and she changed. But i want to get the old Miley back, the one we know and love. AND i am always going to be her friend even if she doesn't change back. Like my mother said Once a friend always a friend. That is true about all my friends."He said as he looked up and smiled.
As he watched her leave he made a frown face, not wanting her to leave. Selena needed him and he knew that but also he needed her and she should know that. Nick looked at her and watched her talk on the phone like the cute person she was. He then looked at his feet as he sighed, waiting for her. He knew who she was talking to, Danny. The person that hated him, thought he was a bad person to be around and he didn't know why. He always got into Nick's face about being Selena's friend which was really weird. Nick looked at Selena, his face never changed."That call was Danny."He heard her say and he nodded "Oh." He knew what they where talking about. "He told me to stay away from you. He doesn't want us to be friends..." Nick Sighed as he walked over to her and sat on the desk next to her computer. "Selena you don't have to listen to him. Remember Once a friend always a friend."He said as he smiled and then frowned.

Selena nodded hearing his explaination of what happened to him and Miley. She had liked Miley back in the old days when she was that sweet girl that loved Nick and was actually totally into her friends and her show. Now she's pretended to love Nick still to make sure no one went near him, she only ever talked to Mandy, and her music is a little more important that her show ever will be again. She hated that about Miley.
It's horrible how her priorities change so rapidly that you can't keep up and once they change they stay like that for a while."Oh, that makes sense. I want that Miley back too. When she didn't hate me for no reason at all." She told him sadly. She really wasn't completely sure as to why Miley hated her so much. She knew it had to do with Nick. But really, why?
Selena smiled seeing him move closer to her. She hoped that he would say something. a few minutes went by and she thought maybe he wasn't going to say anything but then she heard his wonderful voice. "Selena you don't have to listen to him. Remember Once a friend always a friend." She heard him tell her and smiled sweetly at him.
She placed her hand on his, which she saw sitting there on the desk, looking lonely. She nodded. "Which is why i dumped him. This is the last time I am ever going to have to dump him." She said happily and laughed a little. "I would choose you over him any day." She told him happily and hugged him lightly.

Nick looked at her and smiled. She wanted what she wanted. They both wanted Miley back, she was turning into someone she is not. Everything changed about her, her attitude, hair style, her music, and lots of other things like friends. Maybe Mandy was a bad influence on her, wasn't she like 20 something or other. Yeah she was 21, Miles needed friends her age. "Oh, that makes sense. I want that Miley back too. When she didn't hate me for no reason at all." Nick looked at the floor and looked back up at her and looked into her eyes. "Please Promise me something...Try to be friends with Miley, she needs to hang out with someone her age, i think Mandy is to old and a bad influence on her."He said as he still gazed into her eyes.
As Nick sat on the desk next to her and smiled."Which is why i dumped him. This is the last time I am ever going to have to dump him."This was his chance he needed to take it, but he wanted to know it she liked him back. He smiled as he felt her hand on his and he hugged her back after hearing the words she said. "I would choose you over him any day." "Know that I'll do the same."He said as he kissed her on the cheek.He then smiled as he looked at her homework. "Mythological Stories:Echos' Tale.......UMM....fun!"He said as he looked at his backpack. "oh i forgot i have pop."He said as he let go of her hand and walked over to his backpack. He pulled out two pops and threw on at Selena as he walked back over and sat on the desk.

God, his smile was to die for. She loved it. He seldom smiled showing teeth but with her he did nothing but. She hoped it was bacause he liked her. She smiled back and knew that he understood. Miley had changed and she blamed Mandy. She wasn't like that until Mandy showed up, out of the blue. She heard him speak and her heart stopped. Did he still care for her. Is that why his comment came out. Or was it simply because they were friends. "Please Promise me something...Try to be friends with Miley, she needs to hang out with someone her age, i think Mandy is to old and a bad influence on her." She heard him ask and only nodded slowly putting that behind them.
She saw him smile as she told him that she was finally over with Danny for good. She saw that as a sign of him liking her but wasn't sure. He might just be happy she is finally free of a jerk. She then heard his next words. "Know that i'll do the same." She listened to that as she felt his arms wrap around her. She loved that. The feeling of safty when he hugged her.
She suddenly was shocked. He kissed her cheek. What was that. She was unsure. She couldn't move. The feeling of his lips against her cheek was amazing. She had never thought she would react this way from a kiss of a guy. But she was because she thought she was falling in love with him. She wasn't of that either. She then heard his voice again. She heard the words he spoke ring though her ears. "Mythological Stories:Echos' Tale.......UMM....fun!" She laughed with him a little. Yeah this topic sucked. She hated this class. Social Studies, a vauge term for it. She wasn't sure really what to call this class so that was what it was to her. She nodded. "Yeah, well, this is the most interseting story of all the greek myths. It's about how the 'ECHO' came about. I actually have more work to do than anyone else who is doing this project because my story intertwines with another one so I have to cover both. She pretended to brag but was actually not happy about the extra amount of work.
She laughed hearing him. "oh i forgot i have pop." She heard him say. How do you possibly forget about soda. She frowned a pretend frown when he let go of her hand. She loved the feeling of her hand in his. She smiled as he returned though, tossing her a coke. SHe opened it and took a sip. It was so refreshing since thye had been there for about and hour already adns he hadn't really noticed the time going by. "Thanks for the soda. It's really good tonight and i have no idea why." She said happily and typed out another paragraph of her five paper essay on echo. She only had about one and a half of the pages complete. It was going to be a long night. She smiled up at Nick. "So what were you up to before you got my text? She asked figuring he had been with his brothers. That was another thing that attracted her to him. He loved being with his brothers. He was even in a band with two of them.

But yeah nothing really just laying around."He smiled again as he loved looking at her smile, it was so different from everyone Else's that was why he loved it so much.

Selena laughed lightly as she heard Nick's reply to her explaination to her essay. "Eh." was all he had to say. She smiled happily at him and shook her head. She then heard his reply to her thanking him for the soda. "Oh wow, pulling out the old Spanish words." She laughed sarcastically. She hugged him a little. She took a sip of the coke and smiled a little afterward.
She heard him start to say something. "Selena..." She heard him say. She tilted her head a little. She was just a little confused. He never normally started a sentence like that. Using her name unless it was important. She shrugged it off and smiled hearing him respond to her other question.
"Watching Joe sleep and Frankie watch TV, and also Kevin begging me to get a life. But yeah nothing really just laying around." she laughed. She knew how much he hated being bord around the house and how much kevin got on his nerves about getting a life. "Ever think about telling him to get a life too? He does nothing but sit in the house." She sand. But somehow she still had a nagging feeling in the back of her mind the beginning of his first sentence before he answered her. "What were you gonna say before. You said my name and i'm confused as to why." She siad sadly about being confused about that. She wiated for his response by sipping the soda he gave her again.

Nick looked at her and smiled, he loved spanish, the only thing hard about it was the right way to use it. "Oh wow, pulling out the old Spanish words."Nick looked at her and nodded as he looked into her eyes and felt a connection that he never felt before. He knew it might be just a crush, or maybe love. He has had a lot of crushes but he never felt love before so that had to be it. It felt amazing, he didn't fell alone in the world, he felt like he was needed, like he was actually somebody.
"Ever think about telling him to get a life too? He does nothing but sit in the house."Nick laughed, he was the only one in his family that had a life execpt his parents. Frankie had more of a life than Joe and Kevin and he was 8. Nick smiled as he nodded "Of course but then it gets into this whole argument and i don't want to deal with it these days." He siad to her as he laughed and smiled."What were you gonna say before. You said my name and i'm confused as to why."Should he tell her or not was what was going through his mind. But he had to take this moment and grasp it. "Selena...uh...what i wanted to say is......I want you to be my girlfriend, meaning i like you a lot."He said not getting into love yet. He turned his head from her to the floor, not wanting to look at her response.

Selena sat patiently awaiting a reply to her question. Hearing him answer made her heart skipa beat. She smiled warmly and sweetly at him. She shook her head adn looked down afraid that she was going to fall for him if she had eye contact with him. Oh who was she kidding fall for him, she had already fallen and she couldn't fall more just yet. she like him a lot.
"Of course but then it gets into this whole argument and i don't want to deal with it these days." She heard him answer. She laughed. "Yeah he does take things directed at him a bit too personal doesn't he." She asked with a giggle and smiled at him sweetly.
She watched as he looked into her eyes. A spark the coudl be felt from how far they were to eachother sprang though the air stiking them both it seemed. Well if was offical, she could fall harder. She smiled at him and heard him start to talk."Selena...uh...what i wanted to say is......I want you to be my girlfriend, meaning i like you a lot." She heard him say and was taken back. So he did feel the same way she felt. That was a surprise, a good surpirse. She watched him turn his head away quickly and she gasped a little as he did. "Wow, Nick. I Never would have guessed, I mean for those years that...... She started but stopped still afraid to tell him how she felt even though he had just confirmed her hopes that he felt the same way she was worried it would change everything for them. She opened her mouth to speak her but her through was rough, her mouth was dry. Words were just not able to come out. She swallowed hard and hoped that this time she would be able to finish it. "After all those years of my secret crush on you. I finaly know that i wasn't just dreaming about you liking me becasue now you do." She said happily and waited for him to respond beofre moving.
